Mang Cesong and Leonor are more than family friends to us. Leonor was more than a mother to our children when we were neighbors here in the Philippines in the 60’s and especially to Dex and Lea now in Seattle. We spent a lot of good times late last year and early this year with Mang Cesong and Leonor but we did not know that she came home to the Philippines for the last time to say goodbye to all of us here. We will surely miss her but we know that she is now safely home in heaven.

May God give you all the strength, courage and comfort in this most difficult and trying time.

Lola Onor- She’s one in a million lola. I consider myself blessed because being one of her apo, she inspires me always to do good, fight for what is right and excel in everything that I do. She had loved her family more than herself, a loving mother and lola. Her legacy will remain in our hearts forever. We love you lola!

Inay,

You’ve waited long enough for Itay. I am convinced that from here on out, you, as well as the family are happy that the pain Itay has gone through has finally been replaced by pure joy of seeing you. We miss you both and love you….see you on the other side…
