Leslie “Les” Wing was born on August 30, 1932, and passed away on Saturday May 28, 2022 – a few months shy of his 90th birthday.
Les lived with his family in Seattle where he served as a Seattle Fire Fighter. Les and his family eventually moved to Enumclaw where he lived out the last 50+ years of his life.
An avid outdoorsman, Les was a regular at the shooting range and loved hunting. Les would happily share stories of he and his wife spending time together out in the woods hunting.
A lover of animals, Les always had a dog as a companion. In the later years of his life Les’ dog and best friend, Johnko, was a constant at his side. Les and Johnko shared a very special bond.
Although he was a stubborn old goat, Les displayed a strong sense of caring and concern for those who were blessed to grow close to him.
Les was preceded in death by his wife (Colleen) and son (William “Billy”). Les is survived by his daughter, Linda.
He will be missed by those who he let into his life.
