I WOULD LIKE TO EXPRESS MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY ON THE LOSS OF YOUR LOVED ONE. PLEASE BE ENCOURAGED TO KNOW THAT DEATH IS OUR ENEMY. THE HOLY BIBLE AT 1 CORINTHIANS 15:26 STATES, “THE LAST ENEMY DEATH IS TO BE BROUGHT TO NOTHING.” YES, THIS PROMISE OF GOD WILL DO AWAY WITH DEATH AND ALL THE PAIN IT CAUSES. IT IS MY SINCERE HOPE THIS WILL COMFORT YOUR HEART.

Please accept my deepest sympathy. Linda was much more than a good lady with a great smile; she was a Great Mother, Wife, Grandmother and Friend all rolled up together. She is now with the rest of the family and I know Steve is taking great care of her.

Mom,

Thank you for all that you have given me in my life. I myself feel I am a better mother because of your example.

I miss you something awful right now. I hope the pain eases but I am afraid it will mean that I am forgetting and I don’t want that.

We had your memorail today, it was beautiful, you would have loved it. There were so many people there that it was standing room only and people were in the vestible because they could not fit through the door. It shows just how loved you are…. I am not the only one that loves you… we all do.

We will be sure to take good care of Dad while your gone. Even though you were together for the 43years, we want to keep him here longer. As wth loosing you, I am not in the least bit ready to say good by to him either.

I love you Mom…

Denise

We’re so sorry for your great loss. We have many fond memories of Linda—we celebrated your wedding with you–took turns having our babies–canned anything that would fit in a jar–we camped, we laughed, we cried at sad movies. We missed you a lot after you moved away. Go in peace, Linda

Mom,

It has been a year and the pain is still as fresh as it was then. I have not forgotten you, your always on my mind.

The house is changed, you would not know it anymore. I know that I don’t. The love that you placed in it is gone, it is sterile now. This makes me so very sad each time I go there. Everything that was you is gone. It is as if you were erased, or had never been.

When we lost you, we lost dad too. He spends all his time with that woman, it was less than six months and she had moved into your house clothes and all. She has her own house but never goes there anymore. I don’t think that dad realises how much this hurts. I feel as if he never loved you. I know you would have never have done such a thing. You would never have moved anyone into the house, into his place in your heart. And get this, in her sympathy card gave out her phone number. What decent woman does that? I think she was trolling. I have no respect for her. Besides, and you will get a kick out of this, she looks just like Grandma Smith. No, not your mom, dad’s mom. Everytime I see her I want to call her Grandma because she reminds me of her. I think it is weird. She has her own chair now in the house, dad bought her one because she complained about yours. She has messed up your bathroom with all her stuff. She is mean to the grandkids and my Sheri-Lee, who by the way will be with you soon. I actually saw her kick at Sheri this summer, I of course took her home right then and there. Left in the middle of a BBQ. I have also removed myself and Derek from when she has been mean. I have found that I often have to leave suddenly to remove myself from saying anything mean. Which I have done but she is still there. And she is as dumb as a doorknob, she NEVER gets any of the jokes. I could go on about her.

See this is why I miss talking to you. I miss having your feedback on things that bother me and things that make me sad. But of course if you where here, none of this would be happening.

Why? Why did you have to leave us? I still need you every day. Most days I feel so very alone in the world without you. I wish you could come back… I really do.

See you soon,

Denise
