Marcia “Marci” Gail Armstrong passed away on March 3, 2026, in Federal Way, Washington. She was born to Charles and Lona Medvidofsky on January 19, 1944, and grew up in Keene, New Hampshire. She graduated from Keene High School and then attended the Thompson School for Practical Nurses in Brattleboro, Vermont where she received her license in practical nursing (LPN) in 1963. After a several year secretarial career at the Boeing Company, she pursued her creative spirit and passion for antiques and collectibles. She enjoyed finding unique items, restoring them, and sharing them with others through her antique booths in several locations, as well as through online sales, for over 30 years. She had a keen eye for treasures and took great pleasure in searching for them.
Marci’s faith was central to her life, and she dedicated several years to volunteering in many aspects of church work. In later years, when health challenges made it difficult for her to attend services in person, she continued her ministry through prayer and outreach. She faithfully wrote personal cards to church members who had requested prayer, offering them encouragement and letting them know they were remembered and being lifted in prayer.
She had 2 daughters, Karen and Debi, whom she devoted her life to bringing up in a Christian home. She married Michael Armstrong in 1980, and they were happily married for 45 years until her passing. Marci was also a very proud grandmother to her three grandchildren who brought her endless joy.
She is survived by her loving husband, Michael Armstrong, her daughters, Karen McCollum (Bryan) and Debi Perovich (Steven), her cherished grandchildren, Jacob Perovich, Taylor Dugan, and Gianna Perovich; her sister, Leecia Exel (Richard); her brother, Nathan Medvidofsky (Keiko); and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lona Medvidofsky, and four siblings: Don Medoff, Maureen Gearhart, Leah Wolff, and Morris Medvidofsky.
Marci will be remembered for her deep faith in God, caring heart, and devotion to her family whom she made sure always knew how very loved and important each one was to her. She will be deeply missed, but while our hearts grieve, we find comfort in the hope of heaven and the promise that she is now with our Savior, Jesus.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Joni & Friends or Samaritan’s Purse.
Praying for all of the family for peace that passes understanding during this difficult time. We know we will see her again, but until then, we are already greatly missing our thoughtful friend and sweet sister in the Lord. We will never forget her.
