Marjorie Marge Helen Becker

Passed on Sunday evening Feb 19 at Overlake Hospital after a sudden stroke Wed Feb 15 resulting to a brain hemorrhage. She was 73, born June 4, 1932. Marge leaves her beloved family consisting of her husband of 53 years Jack L. Becker, daughter Julia A. Bogden husband Bryan granddaughters Lindsey and Kendall Bogden of Sammamish WA. Son Michael S. Becker wife Laila grandsons Derek, Blake and Cole Becker of Gig Harbor WA. A sister Betty Polson husband Charles of Des Moines WA. Marge was very proud of and often expressed how blessed she was to have such wonderful children and grandchildren which she loved so very much.

Marge was born and raised in the Seattle area moving with family briefly to California in the early 70’s. She was a very special person to many, always happy, very positive in mind and spirit and made friends where ever she went. She had worked in retail at the Bellevue Bon from its opening date until 1996 when she and Jack both retired. She dearly loved to spend a month of each year in Palm Desert, her favorite place to vacation. I have so many wonderful memories of Aunt Marge, I would probably fill this entire guestbook with them and still have much more to say! So, I will put here, only one, the greatest one of all…her love. No matter what I have done in liferight or wrong I always felt accepted and loved by her, as if I could do no wrong. She always had a way of helping me to see things would be ok, and that she was always there if I needed. she was a good listener too! That is my fondest “memory” of my Aunt Marge, and the one I will hold dearest to my heart, and try to live up to more myself, her unconditional love for all.

Dearest Marge,

You will be in our hearts for ever, we are so fortunate to have known you. We thank God above that we managed to visit you and Jack on our return from New Zealand in January and share with you happy times of days gone by drinking those special cocktails. You will be so missed.

Always special your friends,

Jan and Gene

I’ll never forget my “Polish” friend and the fun we had at Smith’s Food King in LA. Thank you Marge for being a part of my life, even though we were miles apart, I always felt close to you. My prayers are with your family, and I know I’ll meet up again with you in that better place!

What a fun aunt my uncle chose for me. I’m sure she’s already manager of the “upbeat dept” in heaven! Can’t wait to see what’s she’s doing with the place! In your sad moments, remember that she is just fine and left you with the coping tools you need. Love you all.

Our little neighborhood will dearly miss Marge. She was always there to do whatever was needed when there was trouble, including looking out for the little animals. Thank you for caring, Marge, we will miss you.
