Patty was an inspiration to me…her faith was what I admire most. She trusted completely in her LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ as evidenced by the many scriptures she had upon the walls of her bedroom. Everywhere she looked, there would be a scripture reminding her of His unfailing love. He was and is now her eternal Comfort.

Psalm 116:15

“Precious in the sight of the LORD, is the death of His saints”

Angel Wings around YOU, Patty.

In His Love,

Pat

Mark, JJ, and Jenn,

Words can not express how deeply we mourn your loss. We all were blessed to be a part of this valiant woman’s life. She gave us hope and grace when we doubted. She challanged us all to be better people by her own examples. May her suffering bring her salvation and peace for all eternity. Rest in peace, dear sister in law.

We will never forget…

I was told by others not to make Patty laugh too hard, in their fear that she may choke. If she wouldn’t have had such a darn good sense of humor, I may have be able to oblige. Together, we laughed a lot. That’s what a friend is for. It was just so much fun to visit her. She definately had a way of keeping you coming back just for the company.

The angels in Heaven are probably having a blast with her there now. I am really going to miss my dear friend, Patty, and I shall never forget her friendship or her angel wings.

Such a long battle to fight, but never giving up. ALways helping others, always caring about others, always smiling. That’s how we will remember Patty and carry her with us in our hearts. We are richer for having shared memories with her. Now you truely have your angel wings.

Although we never had the opportunity to meet Patty face to face, we feel your loss. Mark always spoke so wonderfully and lovingly about Patty. Her spirit and resolve shone brightly through Mark and JJ. Her story “Angel Wings” sits proudly on my message board, where I can look at it when I feel that life is too tough or hectic. I often think of her struggle, her optimism, and her strength when I feel that I don’t have enough of my own to get me through the day.

Mark, JJ, and family, you are in our thoughts and prayers. Patty had an amazing gift to touch the lives of friends and strangers alike in a very positive and powerful way.
