Obituary

Richard Glenn Whitson passed away February 23, 2004 in Tukwila, Washington. He was born December 20, 1925. He retired after 35 years of service with the Federal Aviation Administration, was a Docent of the Richard Museum of Flight, and a past Docent of Woodland Park Zoo. He was a member of Boulevard Park Presbyterian Church and a Boy Scout Master of 25 years. Richard and his wife served with New Tribes Missions as missionaries in Papua New Guinea. He loved aviation, the outdoors and his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 45 years; Montana, two sons; Bruce and Clinton, daughter; Rebecca and 11 grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Bonney-Watson Parker Chapel, Friday Feb. 27, 4 to 8 pm, Sat. 10 am -5pm, & Sun, 11 am -4 pm . A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, Feb. 28 at 3 PM at Boulevard Park Presbyterian Church. Interment will be at Tahoma National Cemetery.
