Teofllo N. Tabadero, affectionately known as “Jun,” was a beacon of light and
laughter in the lives of all who knew him. Born on April 18, 1954, in Los Banos,
Laguna, Philippines, Jun was a cherished son to Teofllo R. Tabadero, Sr. and
Milagros Nuque Tabadero. His life’s journey, marked by kindness, wit, and an
unyielding spirit of generosity, came to a peaceful end on October 8, 2026, at
Multicare Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, WA, surrounded by his loving
family.
Jun was predeceased by his beloved brother Edgar Tabadero and Grandmother
Macaria De Los Reyes, and he is survived by his devoted siblings: Carolina,
Crispin, Rudolfo, Arturo, Eliseo, Faustino, and Michelle. Though he leaves behind
no grandchildren or great-grandchildren, his legacy of love and laughter
continues through his family and friends.
An alumnus of UP Rural High School, Jun graduated in 1971 before pursuing higher education at the University of the Philippines, Los Banos, Laguna, where
he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Agriculture in 1978. His career
began as a college educator at the University of the Philippines, where he
inspired and mentored students for 13 years. In 1990, Jun emigrated to the
United States, where he contributed his talents to Prolab in Seattle and later to
Amazon.
Jun was a man of deep faith and commitment, actively participating in St.
Edward’s Church in Seattle, where he served as a trusted usher. His passion for
life extended beyond his professional and religious commitments; he was an avid
traveler, exploring the beauty of the Philippines and, upon retirement, found joy
in playing bingo with his family and friends.
Known for his quick wit and warm smile, Jun had a unique gift for making
everyone around him feel welcome and valued. His jokes and playful aliases
brought joy to those around him, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the
pleasure of knowing him. His kindness and generosity were a testament to the
extraordinary person he was, touching countless lives in ways that will never be
forgotten.
A celebration of Jun’s life will be held on October 22, 2026, at 10:00 AM at
Bonney Watson Washington Memorial, located at 16445 International
Boulevard, Seattle, WA 98188. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that
donations be made to a charity of your choice in Jun’s honor.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated staff of
Rainier Rehabilitation Center in Puyallup, Harborview Medical Center in Seattle,
MultiCare Good Samaritan Center in Puyallup, and Seattle Post Acute Care for
their compassionate care during Jun’s stays. They also express deep appreciation
