Robert “Bobby” Fay Simpson passed away Sunday, February 16, 2014 at his home surrounded by his wife and son. He was born January 19, 1942 to Chester and Katherine Simpson in Custer, South Dakota. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Jerry. He is survived by his wife, Elsie, of 42 years, his son, Robert F. Simpson, Jr.; two step-sons, Don and Carl Whitaker; and brothers, Don and Bill Simpson. Robert was an avid hunter and fisher, and spent a lot of his time at the cabin in Mason Lake as well as in Winthrop.
So many memories of dear Bobby. Kind and and funny he always warmed your heart.
My growing up years will always include Bobby in my memories.
We are very sorry to see that Bobbie was taken from you. Our prayers go out to you and yours in this time of sorrow. May God keep you and give you strength to endure.
