Yvonne Clara Robinson was born August 24, 1948 in New Orleans, LA. Yvonne was the eldest daughter of Anna Mae Barquet and Vincent G Robinson.
At a young age Yvonne knew she wanted to travel, experience life, and start a family. It was in the 1960s when she decided to make her move to Seattle, WA area and decided Seattle would become home for her and her children.
Her door was always open during your hardest times she was always there to listen and never turned anyone away. Her words were so comforting, smooth and motherly by the time you were done talking you have forgotten you had an issue. Yvonne was a leader, teacher, and a confident to not only her family but the entire community; she was a mother to all. Her love was real and could not be denied. She loved all her children dearly and raised them to be strong, independent individuals. Family and friends could always depend on her to be caring, loving, honest, dependable, a problem solver, and to prepare a good home cooked meal.
Preceded in death by her Mother Anna Mae Barquet; father Vincent Robinson Sr.; children Paul, Samantha; granddaughter Everlean; Husband Leroy; brothers Michael, Bruce, Vincent Jr., Lionel (Charlene), Dennis, Terrin, and Alfred.
Yvonne is survived by her children Lloyd, Vernon, Elijah, Angie (Johnny), Anna, Tanisha, Alfred, and Crystal; sisters Linda, Janet Ann; brothers Davis, Alvin (Tracy), Chris (Shannon), Curtis (Christina), and Arsell (Jamie); as well as a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
