Brian, I will always remember you as the guy around town with a huge smile on your face or a devilish grin like you are up to something. Always wondered what you were up to or had already done. You were very easy to be friends with and always had something to say to make me laugh. Couldn’t be sad when you were around. Hard to express a lifetime of feelings in a little box, so i will just remember the fun times. You have left us, but you left us a little bit of you inside of us to treasure and reflect on for the rest of our lifetime. Miss you always and forever.

Steve, Doug, and Mel…..your loss must be unimaginable. To lose a sibling and son at such a young age defies the laws of what is right……and no words I can say can make it right. That said, you do have family and friends who are feeling the same sense of loss and can be there to support you in your loss. Surround yourself with friends and family….and always remember Brian as the amazing person he was. My condolences McClure family. Rest in peace Brian.

So sorry McClure family. I’ve known Steve and Tina since they moved to Moscow and worked with them at the newspaper. Wonderful couple with wonderful sons. Met his mom and dad many times. Heard so many stories about Brian (and Doug too) that I feel that I knew him. The McClure’s all have a strong faith in our God and have many, many friends who have been praying for them. They know where Brian is now and is probably teasing the angels.

McClure family,

Brian was my first boyfriend. We met in the 7th grade, when your family moved into the house near ours. I remember many fun hours spent hanging out with Brian, Tami and Kristin Decker.

There was one time when Brian somehow managed to get trapped on top of Janet’s freezer in the Decker’s garage and that stupid big dog of theirs wouldn’t let you down! I remember when it was time for you to go home at night and I would walk you home because it was dark, but then you would turn around and walk me home…because it was dark. You were my first kiss, my first break-up, and always a great friend.

I will miss your snarky remarks on FB, but am so grateful for the opportunity of being your friend.

I love you.

First of all I send my Love and Prayers to the McClure family. Brian was a son you can be so proud of. He made everyone he met feel like they were special to him. He always took good care of us when we would visit his places of employment. Brian always took time to stop for a visit on his way up 179th hill. He would always ask how the girls were and would catch me up on his great adventures. I will miss that soooo much. Rest in Peace my dear Brian. Sending you our love until we meet again.
