We will miss you Chris. It was a pleasure knowing someone like you. You always had a smile on your face . We only knew you for a short three years and loved to hear about your travels and how you enjoyed the kids and teaching them. Our Hummel Club will miss you. May you rest in peace and have no more pain. May the family find comfort at this time. God Bless you.
My heart goes out to Chris’ loved ones and my prayers go up for the repose of her soul. She was the dear life long friend of my sister Joan Bohlke Friberg and my own P..E.O. sister. Her effervescence and positive manner were a truly inspiration from the moment I met her at WSU when I was a High School Senior and Joan introduced me to her dear buddy.
I will send a donation to the P.E.O. Foundation in her memory.
God Speed dear Chris,
Tovi Harris
Dear Loved ones of Chris’s
I knew Chris when she worked out at YMCA. She was so friendly and a very caring lady. Then I found she taught school in Highline School District. She was a very dedicated educator and it was a joy sharing about love for children. She loved telling us about her travels at coffee time. God be with you. She will be missed. Marilyn R. Holms of Des Moines
My thoughts and prayers go out to the fammily in their loss of such a wonderful dynamic person. Chris’s passing leaves a big hole in my heart , but I will forever cherish her friendship, humor, and positive outlook.
Caring thoughts are sent to Chris’ sister Patty, and other family members. I saw Christine at the 50th WSU reunion (we had gone to grade school and high school together, too) and she shared her illness with me then…she had such a wonderful spirit and desire to do all she could. Bless you Christine.
My thoughts and prayers are with Chris and her family. I will miss Chris so much as I know everyone will also. Chris was always ready to help in any way for our Hummel Club and especially the conferences. She was a beautiful person and I will miss her. Will miss our visits and also our sharing of a glass (maybe two) of wine. God Bless You Chris.
