Obituary
Connie Willmann Ressler, age 67, passed away early Tuesday morning, August 2, 2016 after a long struggle with cancer. She was born on February 28, 1949 in Seattle to Vernon and Virginia Willmann and lived in Burien where she graduated from Highline High School in 1967. After high school she went on to training for airline reservations and ticketing at Highline College. During her studies at Highline Connie met and began dating Clark Ressler. In 1971 she started working for Alaska Airlines in Sitka AK, later that year she transferred to the Seattle office. When Alaska Airline opened their 1st. ticket counter in the Los Angles terminal she transferred there to help get people acquainted with the Alaska Airline “can we help you” spirit. After a few years in LA she returned to Seattle, caught up with Clark and they continued their relationship. They married on February 5, 1977 and had three loving children who were raised in the Arbor Heights and Des Moines area of Seattle.
Connie loved to work in her garden, growing flowers and vegetables. Her other passions included sewing, quilting, traveling and supporting her children at their chosen sporting events. She was a founding leader of the Mounted Mischief 4-H club and active in King County 4-H for several years. After retirement, Connie & Clark enjoyed cruises with UW Alumni Tours to Greece, Italy, Spain, and Turkey. They also traveled with family and friends to Mexico, Hawaii and other locations.She is survived by her husband of 39 years Clark Ressler and their children Ryan, Marc, Kristi and grandchildren Riley and Teagan. A celebration of life will be held Aug 7th, 1-5pm at Bonney-Watson Memorial Park in SeaTac, WA.
