Don Michael ‘Mike’ Fiorito died on June 19th, 2011, at the age of 69.
Born on May 17, 1942, he was the son of Don and Lena Fiorito and husband to Jolene Fiorito deceased.
He is survived by his sons Erin Laura and Patrick Maria; four grandchildren Ariana, Xander, Penelope, and Julius; his surviving sister Ann Fiorito Damm; nephew Kenneth Damm and Niece/Goddaughter Karen Ann Damm.
After retiring his ownership from Northwest Construction Inc, he then fulfilled his passion to become a flight attendant, working for Northwest Airlines. Mike committed his final years to volunteering for Bailey-Boushay House and spending time with his grandchildren, whom he loved and cherished very dearly. Mike will be forever remembered by family and dear friends
I remember Mike all the way back to the Waltz Clog class at Barclays’ Dance Studio at the June 1947 or 1948 recital where he was one of the “leaders” out front. I have a picture! I haven’t seen him in many, many years, but I remember him as a really nice person with a wonderful smile! I look forward to greeting him in heaven!
We knew Cousin Don as a gentle person with a kind heart and big smile. He will be remembered with love.
