Obituary
Dorothy M. Dahl
Dorothy was born March 15, 1924 in Havre, MT, and was raised with 2 younger brothers, Clarence Patton and Duane Patton. Much of her early life, she grew up on a farm in White Swan, WA. She married Theodore E. Dahl in 1942, and moved to Tukwila, WA where they raised their sons, Edward, Robert, Patrick and Michael, though they tragically lost Michael in a house fire in 1960. Dorothy and Ted moved to Kent, WA in 1960, and later, had a daughter, Michele.
Dorothy was a hard worker and took pride in work. She devoted over 25 years at Boeing, and was a highly recognized employee.
Dorothy was a lady who asked for little but gave so much. Anyone who knew her was touched by her kindness and generosity. Whether you were a co-worker, her child or friend, she always put others ahead of herself.
Though her family is very saddened by her loss, we are so very thankful to have had the time with her. In her spirit, we ask that you raise a glass and toast this very wonderful woman.
The family is also very thankful to Rodica Curtusan and her family, who took loving care of Dorothy during the last 2 months of her life.
Micki,Jr., the Dahl family and all that knew Dottie, we are so sorry for your loss and know the sorrow you are feeling. Dottie could warm any room or heart with just her smile. Our precious angel was called home and we truly are going to miss her. But I know that special angel will be looking out for all of us. We will always love you “Grandma” Dottie!
I will miss ‘Dot’ ,she was a loving person with a great sense of humor. My sympathy to Dorothy Dahl’s family. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
though I only met Dorthy D. a few times my favorite memory is in July 2008 when I was visiting Larry and Micki for a couple of days and my daughter was with me and the way they opened up to each other
Thank you for being part of my life and letting me be part of your family
God Bess you Mom
My mom was my guiding angel. There were few days in my life that I did not at least talk to her. I will miss her dearly but she lives within me. I have been very blessed to have her as my mother and best friend. I also have been blessed to have such a wonderful husband who shared my compassion and helped take care of her.
