I remember Drea for her love of family and life. She was a good friend to my sister Leslie. Helen and I very much enjoyed celebrating her birthday last summer. She will be missed by many. Her Christmas card was always one of the first of the season.
Wow kids, I am shocked to hear your mom is gone. When you kids were all so small, we enjoyed so many fun school and sport activities together at Sunnycrest, and of course, the Canadian Soccer Exchanges. Your mom was a valued volunteer at almost everything, and was always present at your activities there. I wish there were more parents like you had..
Please have a hug from me…Sandy Peluso
Drea was a wonderful lady who always had a smile on her face & had a wonderful attitude. When my daughter Sophie became ill & awaited a heart transplant, she sent many encouraging words & prayers. You will be missed sweetie!
love & hugs,
Holly
Blessing to Drea’s family.
Drea and I worked at Sunmakers together.1997-2000 She sat behind me and we managed to get in trouble for chit-chatting on more than one occasion. We found that we had alot in common; rival high schools, neighborhoods, and some friends in the southend of Seattle. Drea even made it to our wedding after she had gotten into a car accident on her way coming to it. After we both had left Sunmakers, we have kept in touch by e-mail. Email jokes were passed back and forth regularly and then updates of what was going on in our life like children, grandkids, work, and the like. Drea was a sweetheart. I will really miss her. I saw this quote, and it truly describes Drea.
“Friendship isn’t about whom you have known the longest;
but about who came and never left your side.”
Our sincerest condolences to all of Drea’s loving family. As former neighbors and friends, we will remember Drea for the fun times with progressive dinners, game nights and all the other things that brought friends together. 71 is too young, and we will know she will be missed.
To the Family of Drea,
We are so deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Drea, and our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you, Drea and I met in the 80’s when we all lived in Tn, we lived around the corner from each other, used to go shopping and out to lunch, had some fun time. Then ofcourse Drea moved back to Wa and we went back to Ca, but always kept in touch, we ended up in Al so we e-mailed each other all the way up to Thurs 16th when I received the last e-mail from her..She will be sadly missed..
I worked with Drea at Costco Travel and found her to be sweet, courteous and professional. She enjoyed talking to Costco members and booking their travel arrangements. Drea was well liked within the office and we will miss her dearly. May her memory be eternal.
Dear Drea’s Family,
