Obituary

James William Payne, age 78, passed peacefully at his home on Monday, September 4, 2006. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Mary B. Payne; two sons, Dale S. Julia and Jerry D. Payne; two granddaughters, Jodi Chris Payne-Harris and Katy Payne.

A celebration of Jim’s life will be held on Friday, September 15, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Marine View Presbyterian Church, 8469 Marine View Drive, NE Tacoma, WA. Arrangements by: Bonney-Watson Federal Way, 1535 SW Dash Point Rd., Federal Way, WA 253 839-7317.

Dear Mary and Family, Charlene and I wish to express our sympathy to you. We have known both of you through church and woodmaking. Jim was a wonderful man and was always friendly and polite. He loved carving and showed great interest in it. He will be missed but he is in a much better place.
