In loving memory.
Jareline J. Rath was born to Lydia and Christ Rath in Heil, North Dakota on Sept. 15, 1932. Jareline died on May 14, 2016 at the age of 83 in Bellevue, Washington surrounded by loved ones. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Jareline grew up in Heil on the family farm with two siblings. After graduating from high school she continued her education and earned a teaching degree. In 1951 Jareline married her love, Bill Leno. Together they raised 5 children in Seattle Washington. For several years Jareline stayed home and raised the kids. She later worked at Sears Roebuck & Co. at the tobacco counter and then eventually on to sales and then retirement. Her passions included sewing, square dancing, listening to polka music, shopping, playing cribbage, dice, camping, and supporting her children.
Jareline is survived by her son Russ, daughter Joyce, son Larry, son Joey and his wife Chris, and daughter Peggy and her husband Russ. She has eight grandchildren, Teresa, Shellie, Crystal, Dustin, Burl, Jake, Tessa and Tylan and four great grandchildren Francisco, Jareline, Trace and Jackson. She is also survived by her sister Irene, brother Pete, sister in law Mildred, a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 21st, 2:00pm at the V.F.W. Hall in Skyway. Graveside Service Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 1:30pm at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent Washington.
She will forever be loved and missed.
