Obituary
Jimmy David Conner, known as “J.D”, passed away after a long struggle with an ailing illness. He very seldom complained.
He was born in Cotton Plant, Arkansas. He enlisted in the National Guard and was activated during World War II. He served in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater, The European-African Middle Easter Theater Campaign.
He was awarded three bronze stars for the Rhineland, Central Europe and Aleutian Island Campaigns, 6 overseas bars, and an American Defense Service Medal.
After release from active duty he married and relocated to Seattle, WA. He worked for the Boeing Company for 30 years and retired from supervisor. He was loved by his family and friends, and was known for his ability to help anyone who really needed it.
Jimmy is survived by his wife of 73 years Ruby Mae; son Jimmy Wayne Conner and his wife Wendy and son Robert Allen Conner and his wife Toni; his grandchildren David Allen Conner, Grady Conner and his wife Suzie, Rachel Campos and her husband Arnoldo, Cassandra Draper and her husband Henk and Kimberly Livingston and her husband Paul; 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
God saw him getting tired and a cure was not to be…so He put His arms around him and whispered “Come to me” … thinking of and praying for all of you…Love Pj and Tom
