Joan Mary Tate, age 71 passed away peacefully at her home on July 27, 2014. Joan is survived by her son, Tom Tate (Diane); stepson, Steph Tate (Laurie); stepdaughter, Trudy Hurley (Don); grandchildren, Daniel, Hunter, Danielle; brothers, John (Ardis), Bob (Karen) and Howard (Bonnie) Postovit and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Tate and her brother, Eugene Postovit.
Peace to a special friend who endured and prevailed. I will miss her. Condolences to you Ton. You were her life.
My condolences to Joan’s family. We went to High School together in Max. She was always so much fun, upbeat and full of life. Sending thoughts and prayers your way at this difficult time.
I am so sorry to hear of Joan’s passing. We worked together for many years and she was a special friend who endured so much. I still repeat some of her witty phrases and think of her often.
Joan was a friend since we were children, our parents were close friends. I have many memories of our good times. Sincere sympathy to Joan”s family.
