Obituary
Joanne passed away on August 27, 2016 in Burien, WA at the age of 78. She was born in Gardner, MA on April 2, 1938, the daughter of Ernest and Mary Boucher.
She married Clarence Dixon on August 17, 1968 and they enjoyed 32 years of marriage until he passed in 2000. After his death, Joanne left Massachusetts and moved to Seatac, WA. Joanne is survived by her daughter, Lynne; her son, Michael, her daughter-in-law Josephina, and her granddaughter, Adonia.
Joanne was a registered nurse for many years until she retired. She continued to volunteer at local medical centers. She was devoted to caring for others as a nurse, wife, mother, and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.
According to her last wishes, there will be no memorial service.
Memorials in her name should be directed to the Lupus Foundation of America, lupus.org.
Joanne was a loving and caring human being. She will be dearly missed! Love and peace to you…Vinnie

I was so sorry to hear your mom passed away. I enjoyed doing things with you and her and I love that picture of her at the Mariner’s game. I know how hard this is for you and I hope you find peace very soon. Joanne rest in peace! I know you’ll always watch over Lynne.

Lynne so sorry for your loss of your mother.Ive known your mother for years. And she was a very caring person. I worked with her for six years at Normandy House. I will miss calling her and talking about the red sox. May she rest in peace.
