Obituary

In loving memory of Karen Ruth Lee who passed into eternal life peacefully in her bed at home in Federal Way Washington on Thursday evening October 29th 2015.

Born in Seattle Washington on February  9th 1943. Karen was raised in the First Methodist Church in Seattle and lived her life with a deep belief in the church.  She loved all living things and enjoyed her pets and the wild creatures that she encouraged to share her world.

Graduating from West Seattle High School in 1961 Karen married her husband William the same year and celebrated her 54thwedding anniversary in June.  Karen was an accomplished piano player and had a beautiful singing voice.  She sang in church, coral groups and at family gatherings.

She and Bill traveled the world extensively but no matter where Karen was she cherished her home in Federal Way and was always anxious to return to it.  Karen maintained a beautiful home of warmth and family where she created many loving memories.

 She is survived by her loving husband William, son Scott, daughter Kathryn and Brother Mike Abbott.  Karen has three grandsons, Anthony Halbert, Justin Mannie , Conner Mannie and two great grandsons.

There will be a celebration of her life at Bonny Watson Federal Way at 11:00 am on November 14th 2015. Karen will be inurned at Tahoma National Cemetery.
