Obituary

Kenneth R. Campbell died peacefully, surrounded by family on July 29, 2012 at St Francis Hospital in Federal Way, WA.

He was born in Montpelier, Idaho, July 14, 1929 to William and Irene Campbell. Shortly after, the family moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. He was a graduate of East High School, after which he joined the Utah Air National Guard, where he received his commission as 2nd Lieutenant. Ken enjoyed a 33 year career with Mobil Oil Corp, as terminals manager, covering many cities, before retiring in Federal Way.

He had a great love for dogs, especially Dexter, his faithful companion. He enjoyed music, puzzles, reading and telling stories.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Rex and Jesse Campbell, nephew, Michael Campbell and niece, Kathy Campbell. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Marilyn, son Richard Campbell (Carla), daughter Maria Ratcliff (Robert), granddaughters Julia, Anna and Alexandria. Also, sister-in-laws Fern and Leone Campbell, nephews Jon and Craig Campbell, and niece Dorothy Fritz.

Ken requested that no services be held.

RIP Dad, thanks for giving me such a great family ill take real good care of your son. I didn’t know you well but all the stories and your kind voice was such a pleasure. We will miss you Dad but I know your in a better place. Love ur Daughter – in – law, carla
