Obituary

On June 3, 2012, Lorraine Marie Peterson passed away to find peace and join her beloved husband Otto. Lorraine was born on July 18, 1924 to John R. and Gertrude A. Barnard in Wisconsin. Lorraine was married to Otto Peterson for 57 years who passed away less than 2 months ago.  She was a mother and grandmother to Marlene Dick deceased (Juanita, Marla, Laura and Larry), John and Sandi Greer, Karen and Bob Moran (Tina, Robert, and Nadia), Jim Bemis (Brandon and Tayler), Zola Bear, Charles and Tami Peterson (Summer, Amber, Heather, Ciara and Chas) and Cheryl Peterson Mcleod. She was lucky enough to have 9 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. Lorraine enjoyed her large family and treasured family visits. In her youth she loved to dance and the jitterbug was her specialty. One of her favorite pastimes was frequent visits to the Pike Place Market where she has a tile with her name engraved on it.

May her memories as a mother and grandmother be forever in our hearts.

I would like to express my condolences to the family of Ms. Lorraine Peterson for the loss of their mother and grandmother. It seems so unfair that sickness and death should be able to take away someone you love. But the Bible holds out a hope for you to be reunited with your dead loved one in the near future, right here on earth under peaceful conditions. I hope reading John 5:28 will provide much comfort for you during this time in your life. Once again, I express my deepest sympathy.
