Obituary
Surrounded by her loving family, Mary Alice Nance passed away at the University of Washington Medical Center on February 14th, 2012.
Mary was born on June 20, 1944 in Riverside California and was the eldest of four children to Alice and Robert Morris. She grew up in Southern California where she later married Jerry Nance. She relocated to the Seattle area in her twenties and was employed at the Boeing Company as a micro electrician. After 22 years of employment she retired and spent the last 14 years of her life traveling the world and spending time with her family and friends. She will forever be remembered for her strong work ethic, her loyalty to helping others, her abundant generosity and her big heart. She was a member of the Red Hatters Club and organized events and functions for the local community of Bow Lake but her favorite times were spent with her grand kids. Together they watched movies, football games, attended sports events, shopped till they dropped, cooked favorite meals and created many wonderful memories.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Patricia Beckstrand. She leaves behind her sister Debbie Lee, her brother Robert Morris and will forever be remembered by her loving daughters Tina Bojorquez, Peggy Meyer, and Brenda Cook, her treasured grandchildren Garrett, Danielle and Jenna Bojorquez, Mallory and Klara Meyer, and Aaron and Robyn Cook, and Sons in- law Rick Bojorquez and Vince Cook, along with countless friends and family who were blessed to know her.
