I am sorry to hear of Nancy’s death. You will miss her a lot, I know, but she is at peace now. I did not realize she was 77 years old. How the years do fly by. May God be with all of your family at this time.

When I think of you, Nancy, I think of the mailman coming, Roy, your watch, your sing-alongs and your precious smile…and they all make me smile and have a good feeling in my heart. You were a very special person from whom I learned a lot and I am happy to have had you as my auntie even though you were more like one of us kids. A special lady, a special life…innocence and simplicity… beautiful. See you in heaven!

My very special sister Nancy was so loved, by so many people. Always happy, a smile on her face and singing songs that she remembered from her childhood, like “Take Me out to the Ball Game” and “Jesus Love Me”.

Nancy taught me a lot about people who are mentally challenged and different from what society calls normal and I will ever be grateful to her for this gift she gave me.. Although she was not able to express herself well verbally, her eyes and facial expressions told all.

I am so thankful for the time we have had together on this earth and the gift of caring for her over the years. I will miss Nancy dearly, but know that she is in a better place where pain and suffering is no more.

Till me meet again, know that you will always be close to my heart Nancy and I will never forget the joy you brought into my life.

Thou Nancy is sleeping in her resting place, the day is coming when she will b raised to life again when Jesus returns to take His loved ones home with Him. “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. 1Thess.4:16-17

If I stay faithful to the Lord, I will see Nancy in heaven.

I am Nancy’s older brother.

Very dear to me are my memories of Christmas past when Nancy joined us at Grandma (Dorothy) and Grandpa’s (Leonard). Her childlike enthusiasm and innocence taught us that was what mattered in life the most no matter how old you were. Until we meet again I heaven to color in coloring books and do puzzles, love you Aunt Nancy.

Nancy loved her family and looked forward to their visits. She loved the holidays and getting gifts. She loved music and liked to sing with her phonograph and records.

She loved going to church and the YMCA classes. She liked Donna Foxley’s crafts classes. She liked putting puzzles together, watchnig TV, and dressing up. She would say, “Am I pretty Danny Simmons?” And when he would tell her she was beautiful, she would giggle.

She had a cute crush on one of my nephews.
