I was very sorry to hear of Nick’s passing. I was one of his 5th grade teachers and remember well what a great athlete he was. Although I haven’t seen him in six years I still remember him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his parents, siblings, and other loved ones. He will be missed by many.

To the Family, May each of you find comfort in knowing that God is “near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.” Psalm 34;18 He has promised to soon “swallow up death forever…and wipe the tears from all faces.” Isaiah 25;8 Take care,

I had the honor of being Nicholas’ kindergarten teacher at the Open Window School. Nicholas was a sensitive and caring classmate; an adored friend amongst the children. My heart-felt sympathies and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Remembering Nicholas again today. When I had his 4th grade class, I gave all of the students nicknames. He was “Nicolai the Russian Spy”. I often think of him when I think of nicknames for my students. In addition, a student I have currently reminds me of him so much. Just wanted you to know he is thought of and that I wish you comfort and good memories as well.
