RACHEL MOGAN
God sent his angel to escort her home to heaven on April 9, 2008. Rachel was born July 12, 1921 on a farm in Hettinger, North Dakota, to John and Jessie Eneberg. She moved to Grand Coulee, Washington, where she loved roller skating at the ‘Old Rimrock Hall.’ Rachel moved to Seattle in the early 1940’s. She loved traveling in their camper and then van to Leisure Time Resorts. They visited California, the Oregon Coast, and many vacations at Seaside, Oregon. Mom and Dad also took several cruises to Alaska, the Caribbean, East & West, and to Hawaii. She also loved crocheting and knitting. Rachel worked at Gillman’s as a sales clerk and cashier until the war broke out. She wanted to help out, so she quit her job and went to work at the Naval Supply Depot. When WWII was over, she transferred to the Veterans Administration Medical Department in the Exchange Building, then she moved to the Tower Building. She was head receptionist at the ‘Outpatient Department of the Medical Division. After about 8 years there, she transferred to the Federal Housing Department, got married, and left when she got pregnant. After the birth of her second child, she went to work as a cashier at Sears & Roebuck at the Roosevelt store. After working 10 years part time there, she went to work for the Seattle Public Schools. She retired in 1987 from Ballard High School as the attendance secretary. Rachel was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Donald Mogan, in December of last year, and four sisters. She leaves to mourn her passing, two children daughter Donna Dudgeon and son David Mogan, a brother Paul Eneberg, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation and services will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2008, at 3:00 PM at BONNEY-WATSON Washington Memorial, 16445 International Blvd, SeaTac 206 242-1787. Committal services will follow at Washington Memorial Park. Memorials to a favorite charity.
To the family and friends of Rachel Mogan: Each of you was touched by Rachel in a special way. Keep those memories alive and you will always have Rachel in your heart.

We are Aunt Dorothy and Uncle Art. Dorothy is Don’s sister. We visited with you at your first house in Seattle and our families had a great time together. Since then we have had many celebrations together the last being at my 90th Birthday, 5 years ago. We hold you in our love and prayers.
