Obituary
Dario passed away peacefully with his family by his side on September 16, 2017. He was born on March 10, 1921, in Morrone del Sannio, Italy to parents Michele and Maria Guiseppa Mastandrea.
Dario came to Seattle in April, 1928, at the age of 7. He met his future wife, Eda Scoccolo, in the 2nd grade. They were married for 73 years. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during WW II maintaining radio communications from the B-17’s and also working with the military police. He retired from the Boeing Company in 1983 after 30 years. He was very proud of his vegetable and flower gardens. He always believed in family.
Dario is survived by his beloved wife Eda; son Dominic (Diana) Mastandrea and daughter Rita (Scott) Traverso; 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Angelo, sisters Silvia Phillips and Florence Lehmbeck.
Funeral Mass 11:00 AM Friday, September 22, 2017, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
