Obituary
Adelaide Jewel Gray, June 30 1911 – March 26 2011.
She was the last surviving member of the Gray family from North Seattle. She spent most of her years on Queen Anne Hill enjoying her brothers and sisters nieces and nephews She was charming, witty, wise and kind She was also very devoted to her Catholic faith. Always quick with a funny story along with her contagious laugh. She was always a joy to be around. A jewel of the highest quality. She will be surly missed by her remaining family and friends. Rest in peace our dear sweet Adelaide. Forever in our memories.
Service at 11 AM on Saturday, 04/02 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Queen Anne.
Graveside ceremony following at Calvary cemetery with celebration of life immediately after at Piatti Rest University Village.
My brother’s “Aunt Addy” will always be fondly remembered with that devilish glint in her eye during an offbeat remark or risqué question that would inevitably make us laugh; not to mention the “Mad Hatter Tea Party” like rides whenever she drove us anywhere. Memories that triggers an internal chuckle and warm smile. Like her sister Gloria, may she rest in harmony.
I extend my sincere condolences to the family and friends. May you find comfort from the scriptures that were written for our instruction to give us hope.
