Obituary
Adelbert H. Roberts was born April 17, 1926, the youngest of eight children to the union of Benjamin and Ethel Roberts. His parents preceded him in death.
He accepted Christ at an early age at St. Mark Baptist Church and attended Manassas School in Memphis, Tennessee.
He faithfully served his country in the United States Armed Forces from 1951 to 1953 and was awarded an honorable discharge June 3, 1953.
He moved to Chicago with his parents and migrated to Seattle, Washington where he worked for Boeing Aircraft for more than 25 years.
He loved his family, friends and everything that God created since he knew it was good and very good.
He departed this life on Sunday, June 27, 2004 in his home. He leaves to cherish his memories Henrietta Kuykendall, Mary Ellen Matthews Deacon Walter Matthews from Chicago, eleven nieces and nephews and a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.
