Our mom was a quiet and caring person, who lived a truly full life. She was committed to her family. She liked to keep busy and had many talents. She left behind many paintings, pictures, hooked rugs, crocheted projects, plastic canvas and, of course 100’s of beautiful quilts which, to this day, keep so many of her family and friends warm. She liked to take pictures and was an avid poet, describing her many travels with our dad. We want to thank you for sharing your life with her. She cared a lot about and cherished all of you.

Aileen was such a special person. We enjoyed being with her and Clarence so much. We had so much fun in our travels with them with our Why Not Trailer Club. She loved her family so much. We know you all shall miss her.

My Dad was your Dad’s (Clarence’s) Uncle Adolph. Although I only met your Mom a few times I enjoyed spending time with her so much. I cherish a crocheted dish cloth she gave me, I keep it in the motorhome where it will last much longer. My condolences to all of the family. I always regret not getting to know more of you.

Aileen left an impression of a cheerful and warm person. I remember her from the few visits that she and Clarence made into British Columbia. Her skill with words came through in the cards and letters that she sent. Our condellences to all of the family and friends Aileen was close to.
