Dearest Uncle
Oh, the grand memories I have and hold, and even though our times together were far between they were always fun.
Like memories of dinners at your home in Tarzana, each one a party. Your trunk full of hats made those meals especially festive. As did your martinis which you insisted on making much too strong. I remember the plane trip to Apple Valley when you let me “fly” your Piper Cub a short distance over the desert. And the funny stories you would tell in our many phone conversations over the years; you always made me laugh.
But what I will remember most is that wonderful smile of yours that lit up the room and that twinkle in your eyes. Toodle loo.
Al, you were the best Father and Grandfather we could have ever wished for. You were a true gentleman, fun companion and quite frankly…. a Saint. We all love you and will miss you terribly. As you always said “toodle-loo!XOX
Dearest Uncle Al,
You’re tender heart and generous nature have made the world a better place. You will be sorely missed by all.
Your Loving Niece and Family,
Leanne, Chris, Christopher, Marc & Donna
I am so sorry to hear of Uncle Al’s passing. His love of family and support has enhanced my life. He will be sorely missed. I know that he is in heaven looking down upon us.
Aunt Joan,
We are so sorry for your loss. Even from afar, we knew that Uncle Al was a very special person who lived and appreciated a wonderful life. Our thoughts are with you and the rest of the family during this sad time.
With love,
