Albert L. RUSSELL

Passed away 04-25-2011 after a long illness. He was born 04-18-1930 to Albert F. and Vera L. Russell.

Albert graduated from Highline High and served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He retired from the City of Seattle in 1992 as the night supervisor for Monorail repair and maintenance.

Survived by his wife Lorene and two stepdaughters Paulette Whitson and Sandra Torres who were his primary caregivers during his illness. Also survived by a son Will Russell, daughter Kathie Jones, two step-sons Wayne and David Gist, sister Peggy Jack Snell and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Reception will be held Thursday, May 5, 2011 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial, 16445 International Blvd, SeaTac. Military committal ceremony to follow at 2:00 PM at Tahoma National Cemetery, 18600 SE 240th Street, Kent.
