Albin “Al” C. HOVELAND
95, died December 6, 2012 in Seattle. Survived by his wife of 64 years, Thelma Hoveland; daughter Margaret Baty; grandchildren Gregory and Angela Benson; great grandson Nathan Benson; brother Earl Hoveland as well as nieces and nephews. Veteran of the U.S. Army, WWII. Retired in 1979 from the Seattle City Water department as an accountant. Al was an active member of the American Legion Post 40 since 1944. He also belonged to the Sons of Norway Leif Erikson Lodge 2-001, Norwegian Commercial Club and Our Redeemers Lutheran Church. His great wit and fun personality will be missed…forever. Funeral service, 10:00AM, Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Wiggen & Sons Funeral Home – 2003 NW 57th St., Seattle. Burial Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent. Viewing available on Monday, December 17th from 11:00am to 5:00pm and prior to the service on Tuesday.
