Obituary
Aldeene JoAnne Weiler passed away early Tuesday morning of July 27, 2021 at the age of 84 in her home, with her son and grandson by her side. She lived a long and beautiful life, always surrounded by family and fun times.
JoAnne was born in Sisseton, South Dakota on April 20, 1937 to Rosalyn Blossom Canfield and Henry Samuel Jackson. She had two brothers Raymond and Vernal, and two sisters, Dorris and Vicky. She first moved to Bremerton, Washington and then on to West Seattle, where she attended Showalter Middle School and then West Seattle High.
In 1954 she married her first husband, Owen Miller, with whom she had two sons, Roger Dale and Owen James. She later married Jerome Joseph Weiler and had two more sons, Joseph Richard (Rick) and Jerome David (Jerry). As a mother JoAnne was outgoing, with abundant energy- enjoying fishing, go kart racing, motorcycle riding, helping her boys out with school and running various businesses such as Jo’s Ceramics and the County Line Bar and Grill.
In her life she suffered great loss with the untimely passing of her eldest son Rodger, then later her youngest, Jerry. She was also blessed though, with many wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she created many amazing memories; such as trips to Reno and Las Vegas and late night card playing.
JoAnne is survived and remembered by her husband, sons, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and countless friends whose lives she touched.
