What could be more precious

than a Great Grandma’s special love?

She always seems to know the things

That we are fondest of.

She’s always ready with a smile

Or a loving word of praise,

… Her laughter always brightens up

The cloudiest of days…

She has an understanding heart

that encourages and cheers.

The love she gives so freely

Grows deeper with the years.

Her wisdom and devotion

are blessings from above-

Nothing could be more precious

than a Great Grandma’s special love.

I Love you Great Grandma Al..See More

Grandma Alice,

You are the best grandmother anybody could wish for, you will be deeply missed by all. I have so many memories with you. The most ones are when you would take us downtown on the bus at christmas time to see the bon marche santa claus in the window with the little chipmucks trying to take santa’s boots off. Then afterward you would treat us to lunch at Woolsworth and Kress.

If it wasn’t for you to teach me how to plants flowers. they would be all dead. You taught us some much, it would take pages to list everything.

May god you rest in peace and rejoice with your loved ones in heaven. THERE’S NO ONE LIKE YOU GRANDMA.

Great Grandma Al,

You are the most amazing woman I know!!!! If I could grow up to be half the woman you were I would be more then happy. You were always positive and such an inspiration. I can’t thank you enough for that. You were the true meaning to the word Queen. You h e raised an amazing family who all loves you with all of their hearts.

I remember you always making pancakes or French toast in the morning and the table would always be set so pretty. I remember staying the night when you would get prepped for bed and smell so good and then we would lay in bed and talk and always say I love you before we went to sleep.

I miss you terribly and as you sleep now, always remover I LOVE YOU!! May you R.I.P and spend that quality time with your son. Tell the family hi and we miss and love them.

It’s never goodbye always see ya later; till I see you again grandma love you..

My dear Queen,

You’ve touched so many people’s lives after 100 years that I can only say, I’m proud to have been a part of your life. You played a key role in my life , you taught me how to garden, and most of all how to treat people the way you did and listen with open ears and heart.

You may have left this world physically but your spirit will live on for ever in you families life.

I keep waiting to make you that Pancake you loved so much everyday, but know that your making them for the family in Heaven.

I love and miss you with my Heart.

Nighty nite.

Your Prince Ronnie

My deepest condolences to a family and friends who no doubt cherished this special lady. She’s seen many things during her precious life, endured trials, challenges, and with family touched so many in a most positive way! Has surely made lots of lemonade when given lemons! And pancakes n French toast to sweeten the path.

Now she rests for a little while (she’s had quite a journey) (Ecclesiastes 9:5-6, 10) awaiting the time when she will awake as John 5:28-29 promises, to a wonderful new world where all things causing us pain will be done away with as Revelation 21:4-5 states.. Imagine!!

Awake to an clean paradise earth, where there will be no more hurt, anxieties, violence, sickness nor death..

God’s made the promise, and he never lies, see Psalms 37:9-10, 29, 34..

I’ve never met Ms.Alice, however, I know what it is like to lose a loved one to the sting of death. However I was so comforted by what hope the Bible gives, if only we would heed.. Isaiah 48:17-18.

My deepest heartfelt sympathies to Ms Tammy and Chelsea and family n friends and also Annie who also was able to meet this special lady.

My memories of Alice are so special. She was a wonderful lady. Back in the 70’s and 80’s when she was having family gatherings at her house I was invited to come. I really felt like a part of the family. I was good friends with Art and John and they made me feel like I was family.

In the later years I would see her at Little Pats from time to time, she would make a point of coming over to say hi and see what was going on with me.

That smile of hers would light up her face. She was not just beautiful on the inside but on the outside as well.

She knew her family loved her as she did them. My love to all the family, I wish I was closer to attend her service.

Going to miss Aunt Alice. Always remember going over to her house in the summer time. Horseshoes down in the gully and kids all over the place. She will be dearly missed.

My condolences on the loss of Alice. I hope you will forgive me for intruding on your celebration of her life but I have lost touch with a wonderful friend and I wanted to ask if Alice was a relation to Linda Holzer who lived in Renton in the mid 1970s. She has since married and I know her last name is now Robinson. If you know Linda, could you please ask her to get in touch with me? pskarpiak@earthlink.net If not, once again, please accept my apologies for the intrusion.

Thank you.

I would like to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your loved one. Death is one of the most difficult things we face in life but may it comfort you to know that others care. I have found great encouragement when reading the beautiful words penned in the Bible at Isaiah 25:8 “He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces.” May this promise bring your family comfort in this difficult time.
