Alice Tamiko Kusakabe (née Mizuhata)
November 16, 1940 – December 10, 2017 Alice unexpectedly passed away on December 10, 2017 in Seattle, WA at the age of 77. Alice will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her husband, Tomio; children, Galen (Nya) and Katha (Thomas Reuss); sister Helen (Ron Arie); and grandchildren, Carsen, Connor, Bennett, Colin and Clayton.
Alice was born on November 16, 1940 in Seattle, WA to Paul and Suyeko Mizuhata. She graduated from Cleveland High School in 1958 and attended the University of Washington.
Alice was a loving daughter and sister to her family. After the passing of her parents, Paul and Suyeko, she continued the family business and took care of her brother, Richard.
In 1965, she married Tomio Kusakabe, the love of her life. Together they built their dream home overlooking Lake Washington where they raised their loving family. Alice devoted her life to raising her family. She adored spending time with her grandchildren and keeping up with all their activities. She enjoyed family gatherings on all occasions.
A Memorial is scheduled for 11:30am on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Bonney-Watson: Washington Memorial location, with a reception immediately following at the same location.
