Obituary
Anna Dingert, born on 12-06-1919 in Germany passed away on May 3, 2012.
In 1985, Anna came to the US to live with her daughter and family. She enjoyed her life in her new home country and taught us how to accept challenges and never stop learning, always caring for those less fortunate, in need of our compassion and support the communities we live in. She was preceded in death by her husband Ernst and her son Ernst Joseph. Her parents, Katharina and Josef also preceded her in death as were seven siblings, with her being the youngest and last surviving. She is survived by her daughter Inge (Don), granddaughters Bettina and Nicole, grandson Ron great-granddaughters Brandi, Caitlin, Kassidy, Isabella and Sydney and great-grandson Codi, Joshua, and Xavier along with numerous nieces and nephews in Germany. Anna resided at Judson Park for the past eight years and will be greatly missed by the residents and staff who shared her creations and joys of knitting and crocheting. We greatly appreciate all the care and love she received from Judson Park Health Staff and Highline Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SAMA Foundation or Judson Park Health Center in Anna’s name.
I would like to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your loved one. Death is one of the most difficult things we face in life but may it comfort you to know that others care. I have found great encouragement when reading the beautiful words penned in the Bible at Isaiah 25:8 “He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces.” May this promise bring your family comfort in this difficult time.
