I have worked at the Athenian Inn since 1968 while Anna worked at the Deli until she retired. I miss her, she always came by the restraurant to say hello. Condolences.
I enjoyed working with Anna at Barb’s Gourmet Deli next to the Athenian Inn for many years until she retired. We’ll all miss her.
Anna was a dear friend of my grandmother, Mary Sarich. She was loved by my parents, John and Mary Sarich, and by my brothers, Michael and John Sarich, as well as myself. She was greatly admired and respected by my family.
Mrs Cherskov lived a block from us for many years. She and my aunt, who lived with us, both worked at the Pike Place Market for so many years – they often rode the bus together, which I often met for the short walk home. In later years I always enjoyed a chat with her when we met at the junction. We’ve missed seeing her and were so saddened to read of her passing. Our prayers and sincere sympathy to all her family.
