Anna Rowe

Obituary

ROWE, Anna M.

Our sweet and loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and friend was reunited with her husband in the house of our Lord on May 21, 2006. Anna was born in 1926 in Yakima, WA to Lee and Anna Bandle. She graduated Highline High School in 1945. She found her soul mate in the boy next door, Charles, and was married for 55 years. She worked for Boeing for eight years, and the Highline School District for eighteen.

Anna’s love, caring, devotion, and friendship is what we will remember most about her. She was always there whenever asked without hesitation, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her passions in life were gardening, needlepoint, reading, exercising, as well as enjoying her family and friends.

Anna is survived by her daughter Charlene Mark Underhill, her son Robert Pharis Rowe, Grandchildren Kevin Underhill, Kristen Jason LaFrance, Ryan and Sean Rowe and three Great Grandchildren, Evan and Lauren LaFrance, and Emily Rowe.

Anna was preceded into the Kingdom by her husband Charles and four brothers, Ralph, Roy, Lee and Ross Bandle.

Memorial services will be held at Bonney-Watson, Federal Way, on Saturday, June 3rd at 11:00. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hospice Foundation of Group Health, Tacoma, WA .

We are going to miss a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt. We will miss the times of being able to drop in when ever we were in town. Aunt Ann and Uncle Chuck home was always open to us anytime we wanted to drop in. Aunt Ann was always a great host and eager to listen to our stories. She was always giving and caring about our lives. She was eager to hear about our kids, our grandchildren, and us. She was a very wise and caring woman.

I would like to say that I loved my Aunt Ann very much. She was always there for me from when I was a baby to my adult life. I could always find a loving aunt who would protect me and care for me. I even enlisted in the U.S. Army on her birthday, July 27th, 1972. I could never forget her birthday.

We will miss Aunt Ann dearly. She will be missed but never forgotten as long as we live.

We would like to say that we pass on our condolences to my cousins Robert Bob and Charlene. The same goes to their family members. You are all in our prayers. God bless you all.
