Jon and I extend our deepest condolences to the family of Nancy and know we have many memories to sustain us …much was learned from “Nancy and Bill” in our early years that will not be forgotten. Nancy’s wisdom…to be remembered always.
Barbara and Chris…we will be there for you….on the East side of this State of Washington!
We are so very sorry for the loss of your mom. Coming so soon after your dad it must be so difficult. Know that our hearts go out to you and our thoughts and prayers are with you. Your mom was such a lovely lady. I always looked forward to conversations with her at family gatherings. She was witty and insightful and I loved her style and point of view. I will always remember her with great fondness. She was a gem.
Hello, Barbara and Christine – it has been decades since we’ve seen each other, but I remember you very well, as I do both your mom and dad of course. Our parents were great friends and I spent many an evening at your house when I was very young… and you two were younger!
My sister saw your mom mentioned in the paper last week and forwarded me the information. So very sorry to hear, and I had not heard about your dad either. I have been through what you’re experiencing now and I know how difficult it can be. All my best thoughts are with your families.

Nancy was a resident at Normandy Park Assisted Living for a short time. I met her here when I was preparing for a Communion Service for our residents. She had not actively pursued her faith for some time, and she indicated to me that she would like to attend our Service. I was happy to welcome as a member of our small group at our regular meetings, I am so grateful to have been able to help her find comfort in the practice of her faith in her last weeks. She was so happy to be able to receive Eucharist after being without it for so long. God is Good!
Dear Barbara and Christine: Sending many fond thoughts your way. I’m doubly sorry to hear both Nancy and Bill are gone now. I hadn’t heard about your dad; you must be sorely missing them both. I loved them dearly and have wonderful memories of a vacation we spent together in BC in the fifties before either of you were born. We shared so many good times together over the years. Nancy really inspired me to read and travel. And you fell in love with and adopted one of our puppies, Tammy! Please know that Nancy and Bill are greatly missed.
