Obituary

Anneliese Maria Kedziorski
Born in Germany on January 18, 1928
Departed on June 3, 2009 and resided in Seattle, Washington

Anneliese Kedziorski was preceded in death by husband Boleslaw in 1992 and son Richard in 1975, beloved mother of seven, and grandmother of twenty, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2009. Anneliese was born January 18, 1928, in Bochum, Germany, the youngest of seven children to Wilhelm Kurz and Agnes Krengel.

Anneliese grew up with her foster parents in Altenberge, losing her own mother at the age of seven. When WWII broke out, she walked the railroad to find her sister Margret.
In 1945, Anneliese met our father Boleslaw, who had been a prisoner of war. They were married November 7, 1946 in Lutgendortmund, North Rhine Westphalia. They had two children, Gabriela and Marian, and dad was given the opportunity to come to America. This new beginning was sponsored by Catholic Relief Services.
The journey was a fear-provoking experience having no other family to contact upon their arrival in the United States and not knowing anyone.

Anneliese worked in the bakery for Ruth Ashbrook, Gai’s and Langendorf, retiring at the age of 62 after 35 years.
She had seven children, Gabriela Rick Hughes, Marian, Richard, Eugene, Mark, Walter, and Andrzej.

Mom loved music, was accepting and tolerant of everyone, loved gardening, sharing in laughter, good times, and enjoying life with family and friends. Her home was always welcoming to all our friends, the ‘neighborhood mom’, with a heart full of love for everyone.

Anneliese had seventeen grandchildren and three great grandchildren:
Michelle Little Andrzej, Heidi, Erin, and Andrea Hughes,
Ja’Vonne, Adam, and DJ Kedziorski, and Nicholas Zourkis,
Anneliese Kedziorski Jordan, Alicia Juma Taylor, Shawna Kedziorski, Jenna Kedziorski, Sadie, Sophia, and Walter J Joey Kedziorski, Laurel and Drew Bishop

In the final hours, our beloved Mother was surrounded by her family and grandchildren. She was cradled in the arms of the Lord and peacefully passed away to be with her son, husband, brothers, mother and father. What a joyous celebration it must be!
We lova, lova, lova you Mama!

We can feel your sorrow.

She was a wonderful Lady with a lot of happienes and love in her heart.

An angel cries

An angel is crying for sake of a weakness,

And must fall drip into the dam.

Because even the angels weep in silence well;

But her tears are the world Pious,

Because of those same pearls Quillen.

The tear was blurred in the ocean,

If not the sea, knowing the noble origin,

It would have ‘in a shell included.

Treffen wir uns bei der Quelle, bei dem Herrn im Vaterhaus? Beim verlassen seiner Schwelle blick ich sehnend nach Dir aus. Bei der Quelle strömt den Armen Fülle höheren Lebens zu. Selges Los in Jesus Armen! Komm auch du zu dieser Ruh.Ja ich komm zur Lebensquelle, zu der Quelle, Licht und schön. Oh wie freut sich meine Seele auf solch selges Wiedersehn.

In love your sister Margarete

Farewell

“Farewell!” – You do not feel,

What it is, this word of pain;

By safely face

Said you’s and gentle heart.

Farewell! Oh! thousand

Have I spoken it by my self,

And in the insatiable agony

My heart so broken!

Mörike

I am so happy am proud and grateful to God that I am such a wonderful people like you to aunt could have. I also know that we are again.

In Love Horst and Rita

Anneliese,Mrs.K, Grandma K.I have not known her for that long but the last four years I have Shared family gatherings and all of the holidays. On numerous occasions I have shared the love you have instilled into all of your 6 children, grandchildren and great grand children. I have become close to each and everyone of them. You have taught them very well, the things in life that are the most important you cannot buy at any price.

Love, Kindness, respect, generosity, sincerity, and the most important to come together in a time of need. You cannot put a price on that. Wishing the family peace. Anneliese is looking down with smile from heaven seeing and watching over her family.

Mark Twain “My Mother had a heart so large that everybody’s joys found welcomed in it.”

Although I never had the chance to meet Anneliese, I knew how much Andrzej loved her. If Andrzej is any reflection of his mother, I know she is was an incredible person and will be missed by all!

Tante Anneliese, that I knew, was a very strong woman. Like a tree that withstands storms during different seasons of life, she remained strong and steadfast, bending when she needed to weather the elements of life coming her way.

I saw her as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her family.

Tante Anneliese’s spirit of love, caring and devotion, will live on through the legacy of her living family on earth and those who’s lives she has touched over the last 81 years.

God has called Anneliese’s spirit home to continue her work from a new vantage point. She will be missed by all on earth, who knew her; but in my heart, I know that her spirit is alive and watching over her family.

Wishing Anneliese’s family comfort, peace and strength during this time of mourning.
