ABRAMOWICZ, Anthony Allan (Tony) – Tony passed away suddenly on 8/2/ 2018 in Seattle, WA while visiting family. He was born in New Britain on 2/ 25/1942 to the late Anthony and Emily (Jarmula) Abramowicz. He graduated from New Britain High School in 1960, then attended UCONN. He received his bachelor’s degree from Columbia College, Columbia, MO. During high school he worked as an usher at the Strand Theater where he met his future wife the then Marian M. Narcum. They married on 9/11/1965. He worked for 32 years for what is now the BNSF Railroad retiring in 1996. He enlisted in the Naval Reserve during the Vietnam era and remained in the reserves for 26 years retiring in 1992 as a Chief Petty Officer. Because of his job, they lived in many parts of the country moving to Trinity, FL in 2004. During their retirement, Tony and Marian traveled the world together visiting 6 of the 7 continents.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Pamela Abramowicz, her husband Mark Wolfers, and his beloved granddaughter Hana Emily Wolfers all of Seattle, WA. He was predeceased by his sister, Barbara Borysewicz on Apr 14, 2018.
In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 8320 Old County Road 54, New Port Richey, FL 34653.
Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 pm on 8/7/18 at Bonney-Watson Funeral Home, 16445 International Blvd., Seatac, WA 98188. Mass of Christian burial will take place 8/8/18 at 10:00 am at St. Vincent De Paul Parish, 30525 8th Ave, South, Federal Way, WA 98003 with a reception following. Burial will be on 8/8/18 at 2:00 pm in the Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, WA with full military honors.

I am so very sorry and I still can’t believe it. He was a wonderful husband and so devoted to you. You guys were never apart and I will do anything I can to help you through this. Marian I love you!! Please know we all will miss him.

Am deeply saddened with your loss. I was blessed and honored to know Tony, a dear and wonderful friend. You and your family are in our prayers.
Sad for your loss. Tony was my life long friend from the time we met in kindergarten in New Britain, Connecticut. Regret that our circle of old friends is dwindling.
