To all the Genzale family. I lived next door to Ann and Tony as a young girl, on 12th Ave. South. My home was across the street from grandma and grandpa Genzale. It was my first view of the Italian side of life. Very kind people to me, an only child with red hair and freckels. Pasta and wine and lots of laughter are my memories of a busy family . Heaven’s gain

Earth’s loss. Peggy

Making waffles for anyone else but Annie is not right. I am so thankful to have spent so many great times together with Folgers in our cups watching The Price Is Right, Judge Judy or a Golden Girls marathon at the lake. You will be missed beyond any words can express. Ti amo!

I also grew up next to the Genzale family in Burien; Roxann was my younger sister’s BFF. The entire Genzale family were the kind of neighbors that everyone wishes they had–their entire family were great. Anne endured great deal of personal pain and trauma in her life but she experienced even more joy especially with her family and friends she treated like family. Our family extends to the entire Genzale family our deepest condolences. We hope you feel comfort knowing that others will continue to remember your Mom fondly years after last seeing her.

Same as above. Also one of her joys was cooking authentic Italian foods from experience: Asparagus Frittas, mozsarella cheese sliced tomatoes on fresh basil topped with EVOO, her lasagne making parties, brochure and prosciutto, fresh figs, raspberries, oregano, parsley from the garden wich filled her kitchen with wonderful aromas!!! Her pizzelles cooked light and beautiful and she happily served to all of us. I am blessed to have had many experiences with Anne the memories will live in our heart forever.

Ann,you were blessed through the years with family, friends and being so active. Now it’s time the Lord has brought you home to do all of those wonderful things in heaven with him and be with family, you have loss and missed through the years.Look down on your family here, and comfort them to know you are in feeling good again and happy. Those years of when I was younger, taking mama over to Angelina’s are memories of going over to the farm, and you being there at times.,are as clear as the day I was there. Rest in Peace, Ann. May your light shine upon all of the people who have loved and shared time with glow upon them for eternity/

My sincerest condolences for the entire Genzale family and the surrounding community. I will always remember how kind and how funny Anne was. It was in my younger (much younger) years that I was around her but it will stay with me forever. You made a difference Anne.
