In Loving Memory
Arnold Harold George Grengs was born in Clarkfield, Minnesota on December 8, 1943 to Joseph and Cundigunda Grengs. He was the 3rd child amongst 15 children. (Joan, Alex, Ronald, Elaine, Janet, Janice, Mary, Anna, Danny, Louella, Rosella, Linda, Adeline, and Joey).
He attended St. Leo School in St. Leo, Minnesota, and later Canby High School.
In 1964 he married June Sear of Dawson, Minnesota. To this union was born, John, Kristina, Michelle and Melissa.
One year after the marriage, he was drafted into the U.S. Army and sent to Fort Sill, Oklahoma for basic training, and then to Fort Benning, GA where he was trained to be a Military Policeman. He served one year in Viet Nam and then finished out his service at Fort Lewis, Washington. He graduated from Green River College in Auburn, WA with a degree in Building Technology.
Arnold and June made their home in Federal Way, Washington. He was employed by Boeing Airplane Company and trained as a machinist. He also worked as a carpenter for many years and retired from that profession in 2003.
He enjoyed camping, motorcylces, fishing and gardening as well as spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters Rosella, Joan, and Elaine.
In addition to his children, he is survived by his grandchildren David Grengs, Jessica Zielinski, Amanda Grengs, Ashley and Hunter Allan.
Arnold was caring for his granddaughter, Amanda Grengs, before he passed away. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests sending a check in Amanda Grengs name to be used for her future educational expenses.

My heart goes out to family left behind, especially my dear cousins. I’m glad to have known my Uncle Arnie.
I will miss you Dad, but I know I’ll see you again in Heaven. No good byes, just so long for awhile. I’m thankful we were able to spend the holidays together and you were able to hold our children. We love you and ask Jesus to tell you how much you mean to us.

Rest in peace arnie, I know you are in a better place than we are. Say hi to my daughter lisa for me, and give her a hug. And hi to everybody else up there. We will miss ya. To his family, I am so sorry for your loss. Take care and best of luck in your journey through life. God bless you all.
