Your family doesn’t probably remember me. But, my father, Ransome Ron Yeigh, and your father Art worked at Boeing together and fished together. Some of my favorite childhood memories are getting up at 3:00 AM and going out fishing with your father and mine, watching the sunrise and these to men so serious and intent on reeling in a keeper.

I also have fond memories of coming to your home in the International District and your family coming to ours. I remember two sweet little children Shannan and Loren. I also have fond memories of your chiauau mispelled Chi Chi, I believe was her name -I know it had to be changed at one point.

Your partents, Uncle Art and Aunt Alice, always came with a gift of some sort, my favorite was the shrimp chips which I still enjoy. On occasions such as this I am filled with fond memories of salt air, the sport of fishing, sunrises and friendships.

My father passed away in 1979. But hearing of Art’s passing I couldn’t let this opportunity pass me by to let you know that he and your family touched a little girl’s life and left a lasting wonderful impression.

Alice, Shannan and Loren take care of yourselves and one another though a most difficult time.

Take Care,

Sincerely and Fondly,

Shelley Yeigh
