Beatriz (“Beating”) Moises Claro
Beatriz (“Beating”) Moises Claro was born on March 5, 1922 in Talugtog, Nueva Ecija, Philippines. She is the eldest of seven children. Beatriz married Raymundo Resulto Claro on February 8, 1942. She moved to Seattle, Washington, United States in August 1977 with her sons Oscar and Alfredo, to join her husband Raymundo, their daughters Clarita and Angela, and their growing families. Beatriz traveled often to California to visit her siblings and their families in Seaside and her daughter Gloria and family in Chino Hills. She loved cooking and gardening. Above all, she loved her husband, family, and friends. Beatriz passed away peacefully in Seattle, Washington at 11:05pm on August 26, 2014.
Beatriz was preceded in death by her loving husband Raymundo of 46 years; parents Inosencio Cabalo Moises and Maria Cabalona Moises; her brothers Rufino and Crispin Moises; her sister Paulina Antonio; and her daughter Elisa Claro. She is survived by her brothers Anatalio and Enrico Moises and her sister Francisca Pacleb; her children Clarita deVera (Wilfredo, Sr), Oscar Claro, Gloria Tabay (Hernane, Sr), Angela Claro, and Alfredo Claro (Elizabeth); her grandchildren Wilfredo deVera, Jr., Wilva Cornel (Aldrin), Wesley deVera, Christine Domaoan, Hernane Tabay, Jr., Catherine Domaoan, Wendell deVera (Maria), and Virgil Domaoan; and great grandchildren Serena deVera, Andrew Cornel, Ariella Cornel, Gianni Domaoan Chinn, Jasper Jade Domaoan, and Elijah deVera.
Friends and family are invited to attend the Viewing, Thursday, 2 to 5pm and Friday, 2 to 7pm at Washington Memorial Park Bonney-Watson) in SeaTac, WA http://bonneywatson.com/locations/. Rosary to follow Viewing, Friday at 7pm.
