Dear Lynne,
I have such fond memories of your Mom and Dad. I remember staying overnight more than once after some Luther League function or another. Progressive dinners, and many other activities that your Mom supported that we participated in. One time I remember being at your home and your Mom made a sweet potato casserole with marshmallows. I thought it was wonderful!
I extend to you and your family and to Phil and his family my deepest sympathy. I lost my Dad in 2000 and my Mom in 2001. Mom had been in a nursing home for four years, and her death was a blessing and shock at the same time.
The saving grace through this was the knowledge that they were going home to Jesus in heaven and would be healthy and together again. Your Mom was truly a woman of faith, and though it is hard to lose her, I’m sure she was warmly welcomed in heaven.
I hope all is well with you, I think of you often. Please drop me an e-mail if you get a chance. In the meantime, my prayers and sympathy are with you. You all will be in my prayers.
Love, Lorna
Dear Family of Aunt Bea,
I’m sorry for your loss. It has been many years that these mountains separate us. I still think of everyone often. Aunt Bea will be missed by all.
