A Mother’s Love
A Mother’s love is something
that no on can explain,
It is made of deep devotion
and of sacrifice and pain,
It is endless and unselfish
and enduring come what may
For nothing can destroy it
or take that love away . . .
It is patient and forgiving
when all others are forsaking,
And it never fails or falters
even though the heart is breaking . . .
It believes beyond believing
when the world around condemns,
And it glows with all the beauty
of the rarest, brightest gems . . .
It is far beyond defining,
it defies all explanation,
And it still remains a secret
like the mysteries of creation . . .
A many splendoured miracle
man cannot understand
And another wondrous evidence
of God’s tender guiding hand.

My heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to all of Betty’s family. It is very difficult to lose someone as special as a mother. In the short amount of time that I knew Betty, I learned how special she was! Thank you for letting me share your time with her. I miss her very much. Love to you all, Shelly

Although I did not know Betty, I know her daughter Wendy through my two sisters. They told me this morning they were attending her services and I decided to go out of honor of a friend losing their mother as we lost ours 35 years ago as young girls.
I arrived as they were starting the graveside services. I was touched from the moment they started reminishing on Betty’s life.
It always amazes me how God never stops using us for His purpose. Your family tribute to your mother and grandmother touched my heart.
This is one of the best celebration of life that I have ever attended and wanted to share my story with your family. Altho I did not know here, I am thankful that I attended the loving memory of her you all shared.
The video of her with Gene Kelly’s “I’m singing in the rain” was very nicely done. That generation will be greatly missed.
Wendy:
Karen & myself thank GOD for having Betty in our lives; Betty was a BLESSING. I remember Betty looking for me Ray when you guys pulled into the parking lot at church, she would give me a hug, say theres that nice man & say my name. Betty is in good hands now & we will see her again. The bible says to be absent from the body is to be present with the LORD. We will see you & the rest of the family Saturday & your ALL in our prayers! GOD-BLESS LOVE Ray & Karen
This is the day that the LORD hath made!
Barb, Bonney and Wendy – Focus on the memories of all the good times you had with Aunt Betty and rejoice that she is now with the Lord. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotton Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Go with God Aunt Betty…
To the Family of Betty Ulleberg,
We never met Betty personally, but we feel have through her wonderful grand-daughter Desirae. Desirae always spoke so warmly and affectionally about her grandma, we just knew Betty must be a truly loving and caring person. Please accept our heartfelt condolences for your family’s loss. Nothing can replace her in your hearts, but at least know that many good deeds will continue through the generosity of your friends to the Cancer and Alzheimer’s associations in her memory. Sincerely, Lance and Paula Bergerson

I couldn’t have imagined being with my Mom at the time of her death, but I was as was my oldest daughter,Desirae and both of my sisters. Mom was very peaceful when she past over.Just before, she moved her head back and forth slightly as if she was indicating to her guides “I’m ready now” then she was gone. It was very calm and peaceful. After a few minutes, Ron got us all a glass of wine,we toasted our mother and the mood was very serene.
My grandma was such a beautiful loving inspiration to me. She loved her children, grandchildren and her great grandchildren..I will forever miss you..I love you grandma!
Our thoughts are with your family. Betty was special to everyone and will be missed. Memories are special!

We love you so much, Grandma. We will miss you terribly but take great comfort in knowing that you are with the Lord and free from earthly, physical pain. We feel a terrible loss with your passing but know that through Christ we will see you again. Love you! XOXO
I have never met another lady like my Grandma….she lived the life that many would dream of. You spread joy to everyone you encounterd. We all will miss you so much, but what a legacy you have left us. I have much peace in my heart knowing you are a new creation free of discomfort and pain, with our sweet Jesus.
I met Betty when she married my father, George Ulleberg. I know they enjoyed their life together, and wish that they could have been together longer.
A loss beyond words, and long remembered.
Dearest Betty… the nicest memories are often all too brief. Thank you for being a wonderful, loving wife and companion to Dad, and kind and caring friend to us. We could tell from our very first meeting that you both had much in common and were perfect for each other. I know Dad was happy and his final years were joyful. We have loved having you in our family and appreciate being part of yours. We will miss your smiling face, twinkling eyes, your caring nature and graciousness. And we’re glad we got that hug at Christmastime! Love always, MaryLynn and Gary
From the many amazing stories I have heard about Betty, I so admire her spunk, zest for living, and her loving ability to embrace life to the fullest! The opportunities I had to visit with her at family gatherings were alway delightful. She had that little sparkle in her eyes and I could see what a sweet blessing she was to her loved ones.
Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Let us know of any way we can help. Mike and Jenny Crane
Grandmas are very special. She and her influence is someone never forgets. Love you and are praying for your comfort.
Dear Barbara,
May the memories of th life you shared with your Mom help ease your sorrow.
May the comfort of family and friends help heal your heart.
May the promises of Jesus reassure you and give you peace.
With Christ’s love,
Mary Scherff

With love always
I really liked your mother. I know how much you must miss her. Take care of yourself. This is a hard thing to go through.
We first met Betty in 1995 when answering an ad for a waterfront rental house and was surprised when she told us that she was Danny Gaydosh’s grandmother. A year later she graciously allowed us to buy the house that she and Rowland had built. Danny’s Mom, Barbara, and Carol had been real estate agents together and as such we had almost looked at buying the house 20 years earlier.
Thankfully, just a few months ago, Carol had the chance to tell Betty how much we enjoy living in the house at the beach. Betty was so much fun to talk with about her life and family. She shared the many wonderful experiences she and Rowland had dancing and during her years working to sell houses in Palm Springs. I know her family will miss her terribly as will all the neighbors from Lakota Beach. She was a GRAND LADY.

Dearest Betty, Is that you dancing across the clouds? What a joy you have been in our lives. We entered your picture, when you took George into your heart. As the “other” daughter and best friend of MaryLynn’s, we were part of his life. It did not take long to love you as well. We so enjoy remembering our dinners together, the sharing of birthdays, and mostly our long conversations. Thank you for painting us the lovely picture and giving it to us at our favorite breakfast spot, Mitzels. By bringing so much happiness to George – it spread over all the rest of the family. We love you so much and will catch up with you and the ‘dance’ in Heaven. Marcey and Les
